The last two months have been a challenge for my family. Two of my daughters were facing some pretty serious health issues. In our humanness, we were worried and concerned for the worst. I want to tell you that following multiple tests everything came back negative—no cancer. While our daughters are older, it’s important for all of us to share with our kids Christ during the good and the bad. My oldest daughter thought she was pretty “lucky.” But my wife older her, “No, God was watching out for you and is taking care of you.” She agreed. My youngest daughter, on the other hand, by herself pointed out that, despite the pain she was experiencing, she was grateful for being in God’s loving arms. While we plead with God in the pain, let’s make sure we scream His praises during the good.
